The preparations for the Pakistan Super League 2018 final in Karachi are in full swing and in an important step, government of Sindh will purchase bullet proof buses to provide security to the players.
In a meeting on Friday with chairman PCB Najam Sethi, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah approved the purchase of armoured bulletproof vehicles for players for the proposed final in the provincial capital.
Mr. Murad met Najam Sethi and other board officials, along with political and security leadership of the province to discuss arrangements for the PSL final in Karachi.
“During the meeting, the CM ordered the relevant authorities to purchase bulletproof buses for the players during their stay in Karachi for the match,” a spokesman of the chief minister said.
It was also decided that a full-dress rehearsal of the security arrangements will be conducted within 30 days.
Pakistan Super League 03 final will be staged in Karachi on March 25, 2018.
