Looks like this Pakistan Super League fixing drama isn’t going to stop anytime soon, as Shahzaib Hasan, Karachi Kings‘ opener faces provisional ban.
After hearing on Monday and Tuesday by Anti-Corruption Unit, PCB has taken the action. Shahzaib Hasan was also questioned during the PSL but he wasn’t banned immediately because he had informed ACU about the offer that was given to him by the bookie just before the match.
Shahzaib has been charged for soliciting, inducing, enticing, instructing, persuading, encouraging or facilitating fixing. He might face 5-year to a life time ban.
Along-with from Hasan, Mohamamd Irfan was also questioned by the ACU and he was also banned from all forms of cricket, a couple of days ago.
Apart from Shahzaib and Irfan – Sharjeel Khan, Khalid Latif and Nasir Jamshed have already been conditionally suspended from all formats of the game due to alleged spot-fixing.
