Andre Russell, key player of the Islamabad United and a prolific match winner, is handed over a-year ban for missing three drug tests between January to July in 2015.

Andre Russell, West Indies’ international cricket who was involved in Big Bash, PSL, WT20 and CPL trophy wins last year, trespassed in 2015. The Jamaica Anti-Doping Commission (JADCO) decided to press charges against him later in March 2016.

Andre Russell ban starts from January 30, 2017 and will expire on January 30, 2018.

Team management of Islamabad United has announced replacement of Andre Russell.
